In the editorial design module with Carolina Márquez Bernard, I investigated the topic of "Fossils of the Anthropocene." The Anthropocene marks the point in time at which humans begin to leave severe marks on the ecosystem and on our planet, influencing how we coexist, what materials we craft with, and what future generations will call our remains. These fossils can range from intangible traces to very specific objects.
My contribution "Connection Lost </3" focuses on abandoned digital ports and how they became obsolete, questioning what the personal consequences of these lost connections can be. Think of the display you can’t connect to anymore, data locked on a hard drive, or the songs on an old iPod.
